Maternity home for Charleston teens eyes expansion after Roe v. Wade overturned (The Post and Courier, July 22, 2022).
Last week, The Post and Courier featured Florence Crittenton as a resource following the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade. For more than 100 years, our home has been a safe place for young women to prepare for motherhood. Now, we look to expanding community-based support services so that young moms don’t have to relocate to Charleston to have the same access to medical, educational, parenting, career, and life skills support. Our goal is to help young women and their families thrive in their communities.
